WEDNESDAY NIGHT NETBALL!!!!!
Yesterday after school at 4:20 we the school's netball team went to Windmill courts to play our first grading game (I think it was a grading game). The game started at 4:55 so we did some warm ups
Warm up games
First we did high knees then we did butt kicks and after that we had to do little jumps from 10 down to 1 so we had to face the front do ten turn right and do ten and then turn left and do ten jumps then you would face forward and do nine and you would slowly get lower.
The next warm up we did was called four corners were you have to split the team into four corners and give a ball to one side and on the opposite side you give them a ball. The other lines run into the middle (one at a time) then if you have the ball you either pass to the left or the right (or whoever faces you) and once you have past the ball you run in the middle and you have to receive the ball from your left then it keeps going on but it can get confusing sometimes.
After that we played a little more warm up games then it was finally time to play.
The game
We were at court nine and we were playing against Olsh (I think that's how you spell it) our team did great we were working together really well as a team and in the end we got 20 to 0 or 20 nl so we won and I was really happy about that.
P.s i'm not done

Doing VR (virtual reality) in room 8 not finished
Yesterday we had a VR session in room 8 and we were looking underwater. I think what we were doing was comparing each I guess marine environment to one another like, for example they showed us the poor knights Marine reserve and there the water was clean, there were heaps of fish, the coral was bright and everything looked great. Then we looked over to the Huaraki gulf and all you could see was green murky water plus if you looked down all you could see was rubbish and a tire.
Overall we looked at three main places and they were parengarenga (and I forgot the rest of the name),
Huaraki gulf and poor knights.
After that we looked at invasive species and how they can get in. First we looked at a squirt (I forgot that one's name as well) and we saw how they were on the poles and stopping mussels to grow and how they clean the water.
to be continued

Nadia Lim comes for Garden to table
On wednesday we did Garden to table With Nadia Lim and Aaron Gilmore. When they first arrived we sang Tamariki Owairaka. They went down to the field with the gardening group. While they were there my group started making a recipe out Nadia Lim's magazine. It was a roasted vegetable salad with a chili, lime and coconut dressing.
When they were done they came over to the kitchen to do some filming.Nadia came over to my group and tought me how to cut the sweet chili.
At the end I didn't get to eat with everybody because I had road patrols.
